"Never Such Innocence Again"

An event to commemorate the ending of the First World War.

 Colyton Parish History Society will present an important community event and exhibition to tell the previously untold story of life on the home front and to commemorate the contributions made by people of the parish. The event will involve an extensive display of original research material and project work, including exhibits from Colyton Primary School, Colyton Grammar School and other local contributors. This will be complemented by an audio/visual display.

Guided History Walks around Colyton

Even locals can discover what's behind some walls and how
architectural features can unlock the history of buildings.
Learn more about our historic monument with Saxon origin.


The walks start from the car park at 2pm

and are £3.00 per person, under 16 free


Walks will be every Thursday from 6th April till 28th September inclusive


Specially arranged group walks can be arranged throughout the year.
